Beneficiary, Connected and Manager Accounts Overview

There are 3 levels of access to company and individual accounts. Please view the table to see what access each level allows.

Some important notes to consider:

1) You do not need to be connected to a company or individual to pay them.

2) Being connected gives you increased visibility into the company or individual you are connected to.

3) Being connected AND a manager gives you visibility AND ability to manage connected companies or individuals.

Level 1 - Not ConnectedIf you pay a person or a company they are added to your list of 'Beneficiaries'. You can see that list by clicking in the 'Beneficiaries' link on the left menu. This is Level 1 access. You do not need to be connected to pay a person or company.
Level 2 - ConnectedIf the Beneficiary account is 'Connected' to you then you have additional view access to that individual or company. This is level 2 access. The access level 2 'connected' status has been designed for companies to be able to have additional visibility to multiple downstream customers and partners, whether companies or individuals by 'Connecting' to them.
Level 3 - Connected & ManagerIf you are an integrated partner or agency you can get authorized for Level 3 Access. This allows for more advanced management services for your customers and partners.

How do I become connected to company accounts (Access Level 2)?

There are 3 ways you become connected and thus a Manager of other company accounts.

1) You are the first company to pay them via mass pay submission or using the send option on the XTRM platform.

2) You request to be connected to an existing company account. To do this, go to the 'Connected' option, search for the company account you want to manage (connect to) and request to connect to their account. An email is sent to their master admin to approve the request.

3) You created the company account using the XTRM API or XTRM Widgets. Once you have created them they will be listed in the 'Connected Company Beneficiary' table in the connected menu and you are a Manager to them.

Once a company is connected to your company as managed, you will have additional view access via the XTRM user interface. See table above.

Companies accounts you are connected to have the ability to revoke your access at any time by clicking 'Disconnect' in their Connected Manager' page.

How do I become connected to personal accounts (Access Level 2)?

There are 2 ways you become connected to personal accounts. (ie account owned by individuals receiving payments from you or  your customers)

If you are not connected to a user account becuase none of 1) or 2) appleid and you want to be connected, please email support@xtrm.com with the details of the individual you want to be connected to, incuding name and email.
